ITS will be performing maintenance on the EIU Exchange server between the hours of 6:00pm and 11:00pm on Thursday, December 20, 2007. During this time there will be sporadic access to Exchange mail services. On Friday, May 11, Exchange mail services will be unavailable between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. This downtime is needed to install some patches to the system, including a patch to make Exchange compatible with Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7. Network Outage

On Wednesday, April 25, there was an outage in the core network services that provides Exchange Mail Services, and various other ITS services. The outage lasted from approximately 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM.

On February 24, 2007, ITS ran the required patches on the Exchange system to get things ready for the new time change. You should check your calendar for the 3 weeks beginning March 11 to make sure your appointments are correct. Exchange Outage On Saturday February 24

The Exchange team will be performing an update to Exchange Services in the morning on Saturday, February 24. This update is required to get the system ready for the upcoming time change on March 11. During this time, Exchange services will be sporadically available. Total down time planned is around 30 minutes.

Power Failure

Exchange Downtime on May 26

The Exchange team will be performing critical updates to the Exchange system on Friday May 26. The updates will start at approximately 1:00 PM and last until approximately 4:00 PM. There will be sporadic downtime lasting anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes during this time.

Exchange Downtime

Due to some issues with the backup and redundancy software for the Exchange servers, we are going to have to reboot the server. The reboot will happen on 4/20/2006 at 12:15 pm.
